Hope..?

I’m sitting here on my own,
Wishing someone would approach,
And ask me how I am,
I sit and wait,
But no one comes,
I feel more alone as time goes on,
I know nobody’s coming,
But what does it matter?
Sometimes hope is all it takes,
To make a dream come true,
I keep hoping someone will come,
That someone will care,
But it’s no use,
I’m sitting here on this edge,
But nobody cares,
I’m bound to jump one of these days,
Or maybe I’ll be pushed…
