Old Men Fight

Two men from Fort Myers Retirement home engaged each other in a fist fight. Chrisanto Beltran, 72, and Kenneth Knauf, 87. The Retirement home phoned the police at approximately 10:30pm. The police, on arrival, find Chrisanto, the younger of the two, dead on the ground. The people who witnessed the fight say they don't know what happend. Kenneth was taken to the hospital, and in good condition in a couple of days. Both men suffered from Alzheimer. Nobody knows why the fight broke out in the first place, but it left one man dead, and the other looking at jail time. However, the Medical Examiner will have to state the what exactly killed Chrisanto before anybody is going to haul an 87-year-old man to jail.

SMASH Day Reflection

Today was SMASH day in Mrs Smiths Science class, and we had to flip a marble around the table over post-its to obtain points. My team, made up of Kevin, Artie, Leon, and myself, came in the lead with an astonishing one hundred and forty points. In this experiment I displayed myself as an Effective Communicator as well as a Critical Thinker/ Problem Solver. I was able to discuss different patterns and arrangements for the obstacle, and always kept my cool. I was able to work well and everyone was able to speak their mind about their thoughts and opinions. I also helped my teammates to figure out what needed to be changed and how to make the "flick of the marble" go further. I was able to view a problem and fix it with little to no difficulty. This is why I feel I have been an Effective Communicator and Critical Thinker/ Problem Solver.
